Incredible team, unbelievable fans, I have loved every minute 🩷

At the end of this season, I will be stepping down as Oldham Athletic’s Her Game Too Ambassador and Female Liaison Officer. I will still remain part of the wider campaign, but I will not be able to give the role the time and energy it truly deserves going forward. Applications will be open to everyone this summer, and I cannot wait to see it continue to grow.

This has not been an easy decision, because being part of this work has meant so much to me.

Over the past four years, I have been incredibly proud of what we have built together. From providing sanitary products, launching our blog, and hosting our first female panel, to creating “Girls’ Nights In,” welcoming first time fans, strengthening reporting systems, and amplifying the voices of female supporters, it has been a genuinely special journey.

It has also been amazing to see our work recognised more widely, including being highlighted nationally with the Premier League following our work, and being named Fan of the Year at the Non League Paper awards. Moments like that really reflect what we have all achieved together.

We have worked closely with the women’s team and raised funds for the girls, women’s and veterans.

We are not done yet either. There are still some special moments ahead, including hopefully seeing the women’s team on the pitch at Boundary Park a couple of times next season, and potentially even an end of season friendly 👀🤞

We are also, with the help of Wendy and the girls’ team, sending Oldham kits to one of our partner girls’ academies in Kenya, something I am really looking forward to seeing through. ✈️

What a journey it has been 💫

A huge, heartfelt thank you to every single person who has supported this along the way and worked so closely with me.

Pam, I truly do not think we would have achieved what we have without you. Thank you for all the late night Teams calls, always in your own time, for constantly pushing things forward and advocating for us. Oldham Athletic is incredibly lucky to have you.

To all the advocates, Kerry, Dawn, Sammy, Abbey and Andrea, thank you for the time, energy and care you have given. This simply would not have been possible without you, and I know you will all continue to do amazing things. I cannot wait to see the progress you make over the coming seasons.

To all of the Liaison Officers, Kathy, Milly, Sue, and everyone across the wider Liaison network, thank you for your ongoing support, collaboration, and commitment to making a real difference.

To everyone at the club, the Trust, and all the supporters’ groups, thank you for believing in this, backing it, and helping turn ideas into meaningful, lasting change.

And to the fans, truly, thank you. For listening, for learning and supporting, it has meant more than you probably realise. Please keep going, keep challenging, and keep calling out anything that is not right. In a world where violence against women and girls is still so prevalent, let’s continue to make football a safe, welcoming space for everyone.

I will still be there as a fan and I look forward to watching everything we have started continue to grow.

Thank you so much 🩷
