🗣️ Q&A
1. Tell us an interesting or unusual fact about your hometown or city.
Cathrine of Aragon is buried in the cathedral.
2. What got you into football – and do you remember your first match?
I got into football because my dad is from the Wirral and moved to Peterborough when he was little. My mum worked weekend nights, so when I was younger my dad had to take me to a couple of matches. I hated football until i was 14! My first game I remember was Peterborough away in December 2017, but I had been to Peterborough away once before, and our Wembley loss in 2017 too.
3. Why did you choose to support your club?
I asked my dad, (who I now go more games than) to take me to a home game in August 2019. I fell in love so much so I moved to Liverpool in 2024 to attend university, to study Football Science.
4. Who was your footballing hero growing up?
I didn’t have a hero; but the player who was my first favourite was Connor Jennings, it took me 6 months to work up any confidence to ask him for a photo when I was 14.

5. What's your favourite football memory as a fan?
Definitely Watford away in the FA Cup in 2020, 3-0 at half time and ended up drawing 3-3. Walking back to the station a random fella next to me had a cone on his head.
6. Do you travel to away games often?
What’s been your favourite ground to visit?
Yes, I go to every away game! Since 1st April 2024, I’ve only missed 3 or 4 league aways. My favourite ground to go to is Stevenage, no reason why but I’ve been 5 times, so must like it.
7. What’s the best chant or song your fans sing?
In the stadium definitely Andy Crosby’s super white army. If I’m on the coach it’s house of bamboo (IYKYK).
8. Have you noticed attitudes toward female fans or the women’s game changing?
What I’ve noticed since going to games alone is that people tend to be more welcoming to me and look after me. Especially on the coach, the guy who runs it, Danny always makes sure I’m included and okay and alot of the lads on there do too. People seem to be more accepting that women attend alone especially young women.

9. Matchday traditions – any lucky charms on rituals?
I wear the same purple gk every game and get there early to watch the players go in.
10. If your club were a film or song, what would it be and why?
Can i say the Tranmere documentary “Against All The Odds”? It talks about our back to back promotions. If not probably “Naive” by The Kooks - as i feel us Tranmere fans can sometimes be a-bit naive when it comes to hoping things will change especially in regard to ownership.
11. How do you feel Tranmere are doing this season?
I think we are doing decent especially compared to last season. We should be aiming for play offs realistically. Our home form needs to improve.
12. Any particular player for us to watch out for?
Omari Patrick - he’s not fit currently but if played in the right position hes amazing. Sam Finley - as he dominates midfield and Nathan Smith who is probably our best defender.
13. score predictions this afternoon?
1-1 or 2-1 Tranmere.

14. where do you think Tranmere will finish in the league?
Realistically in the playoffs, but I would be happy with top 14.
15. Favourite result or match between Tranmere vs Oldham?
This one! I’ve never been to Boundary park before so will be a memorable one.
16. Favourite player/s that have played for both Tranmere & Oldham?
Well, half your squad is ex tranmere so any of those. but probably Josh Hawkes
⚡ Quick Fire Round
🏟️ Favourite stadium?
Stevenage
🥧 Top matchday snack?
Chips
🚌 Home or away days?
Home for people. Away for atmosphere
📺 VAR – yes or no?
No, as there is too many incorrect decisions and it wastes time.
👕 Dream player to sign for your club?
Prime Simeu to come back.
💬 Final thoughts?
Today is a big game for us and we need to push on and support the lads after last week’s awful loss. Hopefully we dont pull a last season and scrape relegation until the penultimate game. all the best for the rest of the season!
Thanks to Hollie for being a part of our blog, it is a really interesting read. Enjoy your first visit to Boundary Park! 💙🤍🧡
